was beautiful. i still have no words.
the title explains it, the music explains it, the world explains it everyday.
my mother came home from the philippines with photos my grandmother saved over the years, some from my mother’s childhood and some that we sent her once in hawaii. things like these lower the yearning i have to be completely independant after high school. my family is too big and i love them too much to completely leave them.
….and i’m too jealous of my grandma for living through the fifties and witnessing the space age. plus, all of her dresses were perfect. the vintage quality of her photos makes me nostalgic for a time i’ve never lived through.
once my back pain goes away,
i get a kidney stone.

sometimes i still wish i aspired to be an astronaut. and then i remember that there are about 60 in America and that number is continuing to go down. and they don’t even go into space for a good chunk of their careers.
